Parents As Teachers is a free and voluntary program that serves families prenatally through age 3. It is designed to assist ALL families in becoming their child’s first teacher.
Babies begin learning at birth. The way a child grows and learns during the early years of life can have an enormous impact on later development in school and in life.
In the first few years, children learn more and at a faster pace than at any other time in life. You help shape your child’s future through the kinds of experiences you provide.
By assisting parents in teaching children during those most important first years of life, Parents As Teachers can help parents understand more about how children learn and grow.
